I am afraid I shall be stuck upon this little gem from 1966 for a while, there is just so much to love here! This is from the spread Evening Elegance. The shell is made from Bernat yarn and sequins and according to the editors is : "perfect with lame or a frothy white skirt." Both of which I wear on a daily basis, but not simultaneously because that would just be overkill.

ReplyDeleteHA! I hate when that happens.
DeleteHey, Margot!
ReplyDeleteJust toddled over from Corrine (Jafabrit)'s blog, and you're my new crush! :-)
Your post about your Gma and Gpa was so very sweet...isn't it weird how long you can miss them?
BTW, 'not afraid to dance on the edges of Tacky Town'?
OMG, if you don't put that on a t-shirt, I'M GONNA!!!!
xoxoxo Treena
P.S.. (speaking on Gmas....) If you happen to come across instructions for one of those crocheted and tulle Easter hat looking toilet paper covers, would you post it?
My Gma always had one on the back of each of her commodes, and they were actually very pretty. I could see doing a Frankenstein head for Halloween, too.
thanks!
I promise to post a toilet paper cozy project in the future!
