Grandma Got a Facelift
Hello Love Muffins!
You will note that this little site just got a swanky new header. Much like your fearless blogger, Grandmother is not interested in growing old gracefully. She is chic and stylish and eternally fabulous. At least my grandmother was and my mother is and I strive to be...chic, stylish and eternally fabulous.
Welll...that is when I'm in public. When I'm in the studio, all bets are off.
Just ask the UPS dude, or my husband. (Though he would lie to you and say I'm always fabulous, because he's nice like that and he married a Leo.)
It is my mission over the course of the coming months (while we are busily working behind the scenes on a plethora of vintage and vintage inspired crafty goodies for you to purchase) to share even more of the love of all things retrofabulous...and beyond that to personally attempt to master some of these lost arts. Yes, Madge, The Impatient Crafter, the gal with the attention span of a tsetse fly and the patience of a sinner (is that a thing, because it's the opposite of the patience of a saint, right?) But...I digress, Madge a.k.a. me will be making glorious messes and calamity filled craftastrophes as she attempts to master the crafts of yore. The recipes of yore. The home decor...of yore.
The yore of yore.
And you're (wah...wah) going to come along for the fun! Huzzah!
It's the original Do it Yoreself!
I make no promises, some weeks I may end up with a pathetic pile of tangled yarn and some weeks perhaps the Crafty gods will smile upon me and I'll make something fabulous. You can play too! If you make vintage inspired designs and you want to share them here, email me! I'll need guest bloggers, I can only crochet so many Granny squares before my fingers fall off.
Okay that's my proclamation for today. Ta da.
